Research Interest
Dr. Radomski is a health services researcher who focuses on developing and implementing patient-centered approaches to measure and reduce health service overuse. He is currently the principal investigator of a K23 Career Development Award from the National Institute on Aging to develop, validate, and apply a metric of low-value prescribing in older adults, entitled EVOLV-Rx (Evaluating Opportunities to Decrease Low-Value Prescribing). He is also leading a study funded by a VA Merit Award to evaluate the use and cost of low-value health services by Veterans in VA and non-VA care settings. His research has been published in journals such as JAMA, JAMA Internal Medicine, and the Annals of Internal Medicine. He has also successfully mentored several trainees, spanning from high school students to junior faculty.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Radomski is a board-certified general internist who sees adult patients in the General Internal Medicine Office and on the Inpatient Internal Medicine Service at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. He is experienced in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide array of medical problems that affect adults of all ages.
Educational Interest
Dr. Radomski is the Assistant Institute Director and Director of Graduate Programs in Clinical & Translational Science for the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE). In these roles, he leads ICRE-wide initiatives, ensures the ICRE achieves its strategic goals, and provides oversight of operational management, in addition to overseeing the Master's Degree and Certificate Programs in Clinical Research.

Dr. Radomski also actively participates in the education and training of medical students, resident physicians, and general internal medicine fellows. He precepts residents in the general internal medicine outpatient clinic and instructs both residents and medical students as an attending on the inpatient internal medicine service at UPMC Montefiore Hospital.
