Faculty and Staff Updates

Welcome Aboard

Christi Charnock, BSW, was hired as an academic support coordinator for the Pediatrics–Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Christi earned a social work degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is coming to UPMC from the American Red Cross, where she was an emergency disaster response supervisor for 5 years.

Danielle Farias, BA, and Parrisse Henderson, BS, have joined the Center for Research on Health Care (CRHC) to assume the roles of assessors for the Online Treatment for Mood and Anxiety Disorders Study led by Drs. Bruce Rollman (principal investigator) and Bea Herbeck Belnap (project coordinator).

Erica Hall joined Shea Medical Center as a medical assistant.

Colleen Kosky, BA, joined the Section of Palliative Care and Medical Ethics and the Palliative and Supportive Institute as an administrative assistant supporting the overall mission to improve patient quality of life. Colleen earned a BA in communication from the University of Pittsburgh and has several years of administrative and communications experience in nonprofit and academic settings.

Fred Maradei, BA, MSED, is a new patient care liaison working with the A-Service. Fred most recently worked as a case manager for general medicine patients at UPMC Presbyterian. He has been an RN for over 20 years, with experience in nephrology, liver transplant, and oncology case management.
