Department of Medicine Has Strong Showing at 2009 SGIM Meeting

The Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) held its 32nd annual meeting in Miami Beach, Florida, in May 2009. As in past years, members of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Medicine were active participants.

For the SGIM Scholarly Project, 16 housestaff and 14 faculty members contributed to the 12 vignettes that were submitted to the SGIM Scholarly Project. Click here for a list of vignettes. According to Rosanne Granieri, MD, the rate of acceptance of vignettes was once again higher than the national average.
