Profile
Dr Piraino is very interested in improving the care of patients with chronic kidney disease. She has done clinical research in this area for 25 years, and continues to care for patients along the spectrum of kidney disease. She is very interested in medical education and in mentoring and teaching medical students, and participates in five courses at the medical school during the first two years. As part of her job as Associate Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, she works with a wonderful team of people to recruit applicants who are the best fit for our medical school.
