Profile
Dr. Filitsa Bender is an Associate Professor of Medicine, in the clinician educator tract. She is the Peritoneal Dialysis Director at the Oakand DCI and also the Chronic Kidney Disease Center Director. She has a very busy clinical practice and is active in beside teaching of Renal fellows. Dr. Bender serves as the primary investigator for the CKD and PD registries at the Uiversity of Pittsburgh. She also participates at the Methods and Logic in Medicine course for medical students.
