Profile
Dr Chatta is a dually trained gerontologist and oncologist, with a research background in hematopoiesis and tumor immunology. He has a collaborative laboratory program focused on delineating and circumventing immune suppression in prostate cancer. His group is currently working on developing vaccines for prostate cancer, both in preclinical and clinical models. His clinical practice is focused on prostate cancer and multiple myeloma, under the aegis of the new program in Cancer and Aging at the Univ of Pittsburgh. Dr Chatta is the Co-Program leader of the Geriatric Oncology Program.
