Profile
Dr. Piccoli currently serves as a Primary Care Physician at the Tarentum site of Community LIFE, the PACE program affiliated with UPMC. He is certified as a Medical Director and serves as the Medical Director at the Oakmont Campus of Presbyterian Senior Care, a multi-level community that includes Nursing Facility, Personal Care and an innovative Dementia Personal Care building.
Prior to joining the Division he has practiced in varied hospital settings: community, university, and VA; for profit and not-for-profit. He served as the Medical Director of a Continuing Care Retirement Community while the administration and staff were embracing Culture Change. He has been involved in Quality Improvement in the long-term care, inpatient, and outpatient areas. He has been active in the American Medical Directors Association and served as the President of the Illinois Chapter.
