Profile
Dr. Studenski is the Principal Investigator of the Pittsburgh Claude Pepper Center, the Pittsburgh Training Program in Geriatrics and Gerontology, and the Clinical Research Training Program in Aging. She is the Co-Principle Investigator of the Pittsburgh site of the LIFE study
and the Cancer and Aging at Pitt program project. She has received continuous research funding from the NIH, VA, foundations and industry for the last 20 years. Before coming to the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Studenski
served as the Chief of Rehabilitation Medicine Services at Durham, VA Hospital and then became the Director of the Center on Aging at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is currently Chair of the NIH Grant Review Committee Aging Systems and Geriatrics and Chair of the
Research Committee of the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Studenski has been included in the Best Doctors in America since 1998.
