Profile
Dr. Rao is a Professor Medicine, and Chief of Endocrinology at the VA. He is an outstanding teacher and recipient of the highest teaching awards available at the University. He is an expert in clinical diabetes and in diabetes outcomes, and is currently involved in outcomes and quality improvement studies within the Department of Veterans Affairs. He receives funding for his studies from the VA and from the Department of Defense.
