Research Interest
Dr. King participates in clinical research activities conducted by the University of Pittsburgh Palliative Research Center.
Clinical Interest
Dr. King provides inpatient Palliative Care consultation focusing on optimal pain and symptom management, discussions of goals and advance care planning, and planning for future care needs.
Educational Interest
Dr. King focuses on the education of medical students in the pre-clinical years, including clinical skills development, communication skills including medical interviewing skills related to Palliative Care, and also participates in medical student coaching.
