Clinical Practice

Patient care is our core mission and important for all of our educational and research programs. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality patient care in each of our Divisions. We devote major efforts in continuous quality improvement in the operations of our outpatient and inpatient practices and strive for best outcomes and patient satisfaction.

We strive to provide excellent access for outpatient care. Patients are seen within three working days of asking for an appointment in each of the Divisions. We provide easy access to physician referrals from the community for both inpatients and outpatients. A highly organized hospitalist service provides 24 hour coverage for inpatient care.

The Department's clinical activities and productivity have grown enormously over the past five years. This growth has occurred in each of the clinical divisions.
