Research Interest
Our research interest is development of novel molecular and metabolic imaging strategies for early detection and risk stratification of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases using high-resolution SPECT and PET. We are focused on targeted imaging of different aspects of monocyte/macrophage biology (immunometabolism, recruitment, differentiation and activation) in the context of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases utilizing pre-clinical and translational approaches.
