Robert M. Rogers Fund

The Bob and Sandy Rogers Endowed Fund in Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine was established by the Rogers’ family in 2008.   This fund was created to honor the former Division Chief and specifically to sustain his life-long mission of fellowship training and education.  READ MORE...

Project to Cure OB (chronic rejection of transplanted lungs)

In 2014, physicians and scientists within the University of Pittsburgh Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine, along with partners at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, launched an aggressive research project to diagnose obliterative bronchiolitis (OB) early, and develop new treatments to prevent its inevitable progression.  We need your support of the Project to Cure OB to continue this research. PACCM is deeply committed to a mission of providing the highest quality, compassionate patient care for patients with lung disease, to mentoring and training medical students, residents, fellows and young faculty, and to research and scientific discovery. PACCM possesses strong translational programs of clinical and research excellence in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute lung injury, interstitial lung disease, sleep medicine, cystic fibrosis, lung transplantation, pulmonary vascular disease, critical care medicine and the functional genomics of lung diseases.
