Bio

Dr. Veraldi is a graduate of the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, MI, fellowship in Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO, and a research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Veraldi’s clinical interests are in the evaluation and management of individuals with interstitial lung diseases, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), pulmonary complications of connective tissue diseases, and sarcoidosis.

Academic and Research Interests

Dr. Veraldi's research interests are in the molecular underpinnings of fibrosing lung diseases such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease.
