Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program

The goal of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at the University of Pittsburgh is to train physicians in clinical medicine and research.

The program is designed to develop leaders in the field of Infectious Diseases by:

• Providing rigorous training in infectious diseases research. This allows physicians to acquire the critical knowledge and experience necessary for successful investigative careers. To this end, the program provides both didactic course work and training with basic scientists and physician-investigators accomplished in the field of Infectious Diseases.
• Providing state-of-the-art training in clinical infectious diseases at UPMC Presbyterian.
