Admissions
The University of Pittsburgh Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training Program will use ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service)
beginning this year to receive applications.
Application to our program requires submission of the Common Application Form, Personal
Goals statement, and three Letters of Recommendation.
Please remember that four documents must be submitted:
- Completed application
- Three letters of recommendation
- A reference letter from your Residency Program Director or Department Chairman
- Copies of all National Board, FLEX, and USMLE scores
After receiving all your documents, your file will be reviewed by the Fellowship Committee. Interviews are arranged in Pittsburgh for
those applicants we feel can benefit from the
goals and direction of our training program. Interviews are typically conducted from
February through April. Interview days are selected to maximize the applicant's exposure to all
aspects of our Program. Special interview days can be arranged by request.
